14 NIGHT YELLOWSTONE RIDE:
After arriving in Denver, and taking the hotel shuttle to our first night accommodations, you'll help us unload your bike from the trailer and attend an orientation meeting with details on our next days trip. We ensure everyone is gassed up and ready for an early morning departure.
We'll ride up the peak-to-peak highway and through the Rocky Mtn N.P., staying in Hot Sulphur Springs, complete with plenty of mineral bath time in the mountains. The next day we ride through northwestern Colorado to just inside Utah. We'll do a Sunrise ride through Flaming Gorge Park, and head up to just south of Jackson Hole, WY. After a short rest, we'll go into Jackson for the evening. The next morning we'll return to Jackson, after an optional sunrise ride up into Swan Valley, and then visit Grand Teton NP the entire day. An optional sunset ride will go to the top of Signal Mountain. The next morning, if anyone wants to, we can do another optional Sunrise ride to Signal Mountain, and then head up to Yellowstone NP where we'll spend three days basking in what I feel is the best of the West. One night in the historic Old Faithful Inn, and two nights in Canyon's Cabins. There'll be plenty of optional rides and evening and sunset trips throughout the 3 days. We then go to Cody WY with optional trips to the various museums, Buffalo Bill, Firearms and Plains Indians among the best. The following day we go up the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway and the Beartooth Pass on our way to Red Lodge, MT. The following day we're off into the Bighorn Mountains, staying in Sheridan, WY. The next day through Shell Canyon and Ten Sleep Canyons - spectacular views all along the way, staying in Thermopolis, WY and the famous mineral baths there. Optional evening rides through Wind River Gorge. The next day we're up into the Wind River Gorge on our way south, with a long day ride to Poudre Canyon, staying near Ft. Collins for the evening, and then back to Denver, where we'll unpack the bikes, load them into the trailers, and enjoy a couple drinks after a long hot shower. The hotel will get you to the airport the next day, as me and the chase driver head out early to get your bikes back home as quickly, and safely, as possible. We'll be staying in Rustic Cabins, KOA cabins, motels and the not-to-be-missed Old Faithful Inn. Reservations at these park accommodations require advance planning up to a year in advance - you just can't pop in and get these places! GO TO STEP 3:CHECK TOUR DATES TO YELLOWSTONE, |
